Kleio Quartet

The multi-award-winning Kleio Quartet presents a captivating programme of works for string quartet, from the wit and elegance of Haydn to the emotional intensity of Smetana’s autobiographical From My Life, alongside Kaija Saariaho’s haunting Terra Memoria.

First Prize winners at the 2023 Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition, the quartet has rapidly established an international reputation, with performances at major venues including Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, and Copenhagen’s DR Koncerthuset.

BBC New Generation Artists (2024—26) and Quartet in Residence at the Royal Northern College of Music, the Quartet is acclaimed for its expressive playing, technical brilliance, and adventurous programming.
