East Meets West Gala Concert

On the first day of the Year of the Horse, we are delighted to present an exuberant East Meets West Chamber Music Gala Concert, marking the grand finale of the SMA Chamber Music Festival and welcoming a year filled with creativity, vitality, and new artistic journeys.

This special evening features two distinctive parts:

Part I – SMA Young Musicians Showcase

Our talented young performers will take the stage with a vibrant chamber-music programme, highlighting their artistry, teamwork, and musical growth throughout the festival.

Part II – International Artists Ensemble

Audiences will be treated to an extraordinary collaboration between internationally renowned chamber musicians and celebrated Chinese instrumentalists, including Pipa virtuoso Dr. Cheng Yu and Erhu artist Ziyang Huang. Together, they will present iconic works that seamlessly merge Eastern and Western traditions—an inspiring musical dialogue that transcends borders.
