Tatiana Berman
Violinist and Entrepreneur
Hi, I am Tatiana Berman, a violinist who studied at the YMS and then at the Royal College of Music. At this point, here is what my professional life looks like.
I give educational workshops across the US to groups of kids and young adults. I perform concerts in line with whatever connected project might be in the works at the time. I also produce artistic musical and documentary content for a living and paint paintings in my (mostly non-existent) spare time.
My main mission is to find ways to bridge the gap and introduce a broader audience to great classical music in a way that is accessible and enjoyable. That is why I co-created the Not So Classical experience and released an album with the same name. I am the founder of Constella Arts, an organisation that became a creative hub for live performances, film and digital productions and educational workshops. Currently, I’m also one of three women profiled in the new documentary, Forte. It’s a beautiful film about soloists balancing competitive music careers - in my case, balancing music and motherhood.
