About Seven Sayings: Triumph
Programme includes: Beethoven Symphony No. 5 | Korngold Suite for Left Hand Piano and Strings Op 23
As we near the end of our seven-concert journey, we present Beethoven’s iconic 5th Symphony, hailed by E.T.A. Hoffmann as “one of the most important works of the time”, performed alongside Korngold's cinematic Suite for Left Hand Piano and Strings, a rip-roaring chamber masterpiece from one of the heroes of Hollywood's golden age, originally inscribed to the legendary left-handed pianist Paul Wittgenstein.
Get together friends and family (don’t forget about our group discount), bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of sunshine (we hope) and glorious music. Our grounds and bar will be open from 4pm with plenty of chilled Prosecco and fresh Pimm’s on offer.
There will be a 75-minute interval, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your picnic.
