About Harp Explorers

Join us for a fun and engaging workshop with Keziah Thomas, renowned harpist and Professor of Harp at the Yehudi Menuhin School. This three-hour session takes place on the stage of the Menuhin Hall, famed for its outstanding acoustics, and will include group work on building technical skills, an in-depth exploration of solo repertoire and a creative session on improvisation and ensemble playing.

The course is designed for young harpists who have attained ABRSM Grade 3 or higher, and is most suitable for ages 9 to 13. If interested participants fall outside this age group but would like to join, please contact us before purchasing a ticket.

After you have booked your place, you will be contacted by the Yehudi Menuhin School to discuss any specific needs, the type of harp that the participant will play (pedal or lever) and the solo repertoire to be practised during the workshop.

Participants should bring their own harp. We have a limited number of harps available to borrow, but please contact us before  you purchase your ticket to check availability, should you need one.

Please bring a packed lunch; soft drinks will be provided. Please do not bring any kind of nuts onto our site.

As spaces are limited, early booking is encouraged.
