About 2024 OMWPA Gala Concert & Graduation

The Overseas Masters Winter Piano Academy (OMWPA) was founded in 2010 by YMS alumnus Bobby Chen (1991-98). 

Just over 140 talented young Asian music students have now taken part who later went on to Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland; Canada’s McGill University; the USA’s College of Wooster, Miami University, Brown University, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee College of Music, University of Michigan. At least five brilliant students have also performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
